Leadership Development, Grounded in Research
360 feedback is used for leadership development at roughly 90% of Fortune 500 companies, but historically it's been restricted to a handful of senior executives because of cost, with coaching the most expensive part of the program. AL360 was created to democratize that practice: to give every leader access to the kind of honest, multi-rater feedback that builds genuine self-awareness.
A 360-degree feedback assessment gathers input on the same set of leadership competencies from multiple perspectives, the leader's own self rating alongside ratings from managers, peers, and direct reports. Comparing how leaders see themselves with how others experience them is what creates the "aha" moment that drives lasting change. It's the difference between a one-directional review and a true 360 degree evaluation. (You'll also hear about 180-degree feedback, which gathers input from a manager and self, and 540-degree feedback, which extends the circle further to include customers and other external stakeholders.)
Dr. Zain Ali drew on 30+ years of digital transformation experience, five years as an executive coach, and his PhD research to design an AI-enabled platform for self-directed leadership growth. The work was informed by research in the Learning Technologies department at the University of North Texas and delivered by a global team based in the USA, Ireland, and Pakistan. The result is a platform that supports the full spectrum of development — from supervisory and management development to executive development, succession planning, and high-potential pipelines.
